Installation

Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/prosamik/freescreenshot.git
cd freescreenshot

Build the universal binary:

swift build -c release --arch arm64 --arch x86_64

Creating a Universal DMG

Follow these steps to create a professional universal DMG file for distribution:

Build the universal binary:

swift build -c release --arch arm64 --arch x86_64

Generate the application icon:

Usage

Mount the DMG file
Drag FreeScreenshot.app to your Applications folder
Right-click FreeScreenshot.app and select “Open” (required first time only)
Press Cmd+Shift+7 to capture a screenshot, or drag and drop an image
Use the toolbar to select different editing tools
Apply backgrounds, add annotations, and enhance your screenshot
Click “Export” to save your masterpiece
